As Operations Manager for South Australia, I bring extensive scaffolding experience gained on defence, oil and gas, and iron ore projects across Australia. Starting on the tools at 20, I developed a strong practical knowledge of tube and clip and Kwikstage scaffolding. Since moving off the tools in 2016, that hands-on experience has continued to shape my approach to managing operations. Outside work, I enjoy fishing, cooking and discovering great places to eat.
With more than 36 years in the scaffolding industry, Luke brings extensive experience, practical knowledge and a hands-on approach.
Luke has surrounded himself with an experienced team of scaffolders and industry professionals who bring decades of combined knowledge to the business.

As Project Manager, I bring over a decade of experience at Oldfields, having joined the team in 2013. I spent my first nine years on the tools before transitioning into office-based roles, bringing with me extensive hands-on knowledge and a practical understanding of site operations. That experience has shaped the way I approach project management and gives me a strong understanding of both the planning and delivery sides of a project. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me watching rugby league or cricket and enjoying time with family and friends.
With 13 years of experience in the scaffolding industry, including the past six years with Oldfields Scaffolding, I have built extensive experience across a wide range of scaffolding projects. As an Advanced Ticket Scaffolder, I specialise in tube and fit scaffolding, with a strong focus on delivering safe, practical and efficient solutions.
I currently work as an Estimator, primarily focusing on quoting and designing aluminium scaffold systems. My hands-on experience as a scaffolder gives me a practical understanding of what works on site, allowing me to develop scaffold solutions that are both effective and tailored to each project’s requirements.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and getting out fishing whenever I get the opportunity.
With over 15 years’ experience in the scaffolding industry, I’ve worked my way from the tools as an Advanced Scaffolder through to Operations Management and now into my role as a Senior Estimator. Having experience across every stage of the industry gives me a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver safe, efficient and successful projects, both on paper and on site.
I take pride in bringing that hands-on experience into every estimate, combining technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
Outside of work, I’m a retired footballer, a very average golfer & a punching bag for 2 little rugrats. When I’m not working or chasing a golf ball, you’ll usually find me enjoying good food, good company and an ice-cold beer.
